Tre In Lucina: Roma in Love or In Love in Rome….

Whatever the case, Ristorante Tre In Lucina invites you on an endless culinary journey to savour the Cucina Romana in Rome’s most avant-garde historic city square, Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina.

Where is Tre In Lucina?

Situated in the heart of the Roman City centre, right between Via del Corso and Via di Campo Marzio, Tre in Lucina is a brand-new, all-day lifestyle restaurant.

More specifically, it serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, aperitivo and dinner inside its beautifully designed and curated interior. In addition, it offers al fresco seating right in the heart of Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina opposite Louis Vuitton’s flagship store.

Ristorante Tre in Lucina is the new sister restaurant of the famous Tre Scalini in Piazza Navona 28. Therefore, it continues the tradition of using only top-quality local ingredients while maintaining its true Roman identity by paying homage to recipes passed down from generation to generation, like the Polpettine alla Romana and Mezze maniche alla Gricia.

  • Bucatini al‘Amatriciana
  • Cacio e Pepe made with local Pecorino Romano cheese
  • Carciofi alla Romana
  • Homemade Gnocchi which the Romans traditionally eat on Thursdays
  • Bacala, which is eaten on Fridays
  • And best-sellers like Carbonara, Bolognese and Nonna’s secret meatball recipe, Polettine alla Romana soaked in a fresh tomato sauce.

In addition, signature dishes also include Spaghettone Vongole & Bottargaslow cooked Lamb, Beef Tagliata and Lobster Linguini.

The desserts

The pièce de résistance, Il Tartufo, is a decadent chocolate truffle dessert. Specifically, it has been a speciality of the house since 1946. This symphony of 13 varieties of Swiss cocoa became very popular in the era of the Dolce Vita where movie stars would savour it while admiring the historic masterpieces in Piazza Navona.

Since then, Il Tartufo has become viral with tons of tourists taking photos of the chocolate truffle topped with fresh cream and a hand-rolled waffle in front of Rome’s historical hot spots.

Of course, if you are craving something savoury and fancy, then you should go for the restaurant’s Champagne aperitivo.
